The Calliope Socks feature a simple ribbed cable fold-over cuff. These socks are knit from the cuff down and have instructions for how to construct the folder over portion, so that your cables will facing the right side! These cozy, DK socks will surely be your go-to sock when lounging around the house!
Sizing:
S(M,L) 8”(9”, 11”) circumference. When measuring foot, make sure to measure at the widest part of your foot to ensure proper fit!
Suggested Yarn:
170-200 yards of dk weight yarn of your choice.
Suggested Needles:
3.25mm 9” circulars, 32” (for magic loop method) or 3.25mm DPNs for small circumference knitting.
Notions:
2 stitch markers, weaving needle, scissors, optional cable needle.
Techniques featured:
knit stitches, purl stitches, slipped stitches, cables, yarn over, left and right decreases, charted instructions, ribbing, heel flap , kitchener stitch for toe, cuff down sock knitting.
