Why have just one style of mitts, when you can have 2 in 1! These convertible mitts will give you the best of both worlds with a removable and stylish flap. This pattern is knit from the cuff up with a thumb gusset and convertible flap. It features a cable ribbed cuff and traveling stitches on the hand to add a bit of style.
This is a advanced beginner level convertible mittens pattern.
Finished Measurements
XS(S,M,L) - 5.5’’(6”,6.5”,7-8.5”) measured at the top of your wrist. These sizes are intended for teenage-adult.
Suggested Yarn
Any dk weight yarn (to match gauge)
140-185 yards (130 -170 meters) depending on the size you wish to knit.
Suggested Needles
US 5 (3.75 mm) needles, 9” (for small circumference), 32” (for magic loop method) or DPNs.
